In September 2022, Manitoba members voted in favour of the adoption of CAMRT-MB, the new provincial arm of the CAMRT that will provide association services for Manitoba MRTs.
On November 14th, MAMRT held a special meeting to confirm the decision to dissolve the MAMRT, which will occur in early 2023.
Beginning January 1, 2023, CAMRT-MB membership will replace MAMRT membership.
Throughout the decision-making process MAMRT remained committed to self-regulation in Manitoba, please see the MAMRT Self-Regulation webpage for current information as of November 2022.
Volunteers from both the MRT and Sonography communities will continue the work required to move this initiative forward with our provincial government. Any questions can continue to be directed to selfreg@mamrt.ca , not the CAMRT or CAMRT-MB.
